blog whaaaaat??

I am having serious doubts about the whole blog-thingy. there were basically two reasons that i started this blog. One, it seemed hip (it still does seem hip!), and two, it is a really good outlet of frustration, happiness, proundness, sadness, hopelessness, and whatever-the-hell-you-feel-like-NESS. i am a strong believer that one should not keep too much of all those feelings inside, or else he/she might explode!
but as i read my own blog, and all other blogs, which make bloging seem hip, i realize that my blog simply sucks ass. it is not "hip"! i dont have many readers. so the blog has basically turned out to a simple outlet, and nothing more. i am not even trying to make it a "hip" blog. i guess when i started the blog, i thought i would find many readers. but i didn't, and i didnt even try to. and by trying i dont mean giving the link to all my friends and family, or ading it on every single blog's comment section, screw that. i think you find readers if you provide a hip-happening blog. a blog with more than one post every four days! so you dont have to advertise at all. advertising like "read my blog read my blog" is for suckers i think.
now i dont want anyone to leave a comment saying my blog doesnt suck ass. it does. why am i posting this then? well to let you (whoever happened to visit this blog once a month) that i will rarely post anything here until i get my own computer, hopefully a notebook. i am planning to buy one before my trip to iran. i can see myself posting 2-3 posts everyday if i have a notebook of my own. so i am not stopping for ever. how could i not use such a cool title for a blog "Made in Iran"?!

so for now, i will read and read. and read. and hopefully starting september, i will write also.
God bless...

don't-know-what-the-title-should-be-!

it has been a while, eh?
well I didnt have much to share, or more accurately, I didnt think I had anything worth the trouble of sharing!

my parents and my younger brother are arriving here in San Francisco today from Iran. they will be here for a month. So it should be good times.

my left elbow is better. hopefully I will get to go skiing with my brothers one or two weekends before the season is over.

did you know how hard it was to get into the new Bioengineering program in Stanford? VERY HARD! there were apparently 350 applicants and they only accepted 10 students. that sucks big time!

thats all for now I guess.

A joke with a lesson...

Here is rather interesting joke:

"Blonde Got Game
A blonde and a lawyer are seated next to each other on a flight from LA
to NY. The lawyer asks if she would like to play a fun game? The blonde,
tired, just wants to take a nap, politely declines and rolls over to the
window to catch a few winks. The lawyer persists and explains that the
game is easy and a lot of fun. He explains, "I ask you a question, and
if you don't know the answer, you pay me $5.00, and vise versa."
Again, she declines and tries to get some sleep.
The lawyer, now agitated, says, "Okay, if you don't know the answer you
pay me $5.00, and if I don't know the answer, I will pay you $500.00."
This catches the blonde's attention and, figuring there will be no end
to this torment unless she plays, agrees to the game.
The lawyer asks the first question. "What's the distance from the earth
to the moon?"
The blonde doesn't say a word, reaches into her purse, pulls out a $5.00
bill and hands it to the lawyer. "Okay, " says the lawyer, "your turn".
She asks the lawyer, "What goes up a hill with three legs and comes down
with four legs?"
The lawyer, puzzled, takes out his laptop computer and searches all his
references, no answer. He taps into the air phone with his modem and
searches the net and the library of congress, no answer. Frustrated, he
sends e-mail to all his friends and coworkers, to no avail. After an
hour, he wakes the blonde, and hands her $500.00.
The blonde says, "Thank you, " and turns back to get some more sleep.
The lawyer, who is more than a little miffed, wakes the blonde and asks,
"Well, what's the answer?"
Without a word, the blonde reaches into her purse, hands the lawyer
$5.00, and goes back to sleep."

The lesson: don't judge people but their looks. There is more than meets the eyes! I think judging people by their looks is one of the main problems of Iranian society, in Iran or outside. I have no idea why, but many of us Iranians like to show off, and judge each other by the cloths or shoes we wear, or by the car we drive, or by the house we live in! So materialistic bunch of people we are. My dear Iranian readers now don't get all offended thinking YOU are not like that, I am talking in general about the Iranian societies.

peace out...
