my way or ...

you gotta realize not everything should go your way, could go your way, or would go your way. the sooner you realize that, no, the sooner that "sinks in", the sooner in your life you could handle "situations". Situation where of course something happens that you didn't expect to happen. something is said that you werent expecting to hear. at these moments, the brain stops. well thats how it feels anyways. the sense, the words, the moment keeps repeating itself in your brain once every oh i dont know, one-thousand of a second. BUT, the sooner that sinking happens, the easier you can breakup the stupid loop in your brain and react in a simply put proper way.
i did find myself in one of those situations tonight, and lets just say it wasnt pretty. and my reaction didn't help much either. so, hopefully, fingers crossed, by me writing these lines, that fact "sinks in" more than before and my reactions get better. hopefully.

what to do?

it has been a while, i know. but what ev'...
here is my question for you: what do you do when someone who you thought were worthy of spending your time with turned out to be someone who would rather shoot in the head, or punch in the face on a less violent scale? what would you do?
what would you do if you find out someone you thought is a cool person is actually not much more than a jackass?
what would you do if someone you thought would be a perfect match for your messed up thoughts actually is someone you prefer to leave to talk to a trash can?
what would you do if that person that once seem flawless is actually full of flaws. those that get you on your nerves so bad that you want to just kill yourself in the hope of easing the pain.
well, if you can asnwer any of these, let me know will ya?

i already feel better... thanks....

life is good...

few seconds ago i finished writing a new post, but as i was about to publish it, things went wrong and i lost what i had written. so the title stays the same, and here is a summary of what i wrote before (i am sure too lazy, and busy, to write the entire post again):
- student life is good. you dont make much money compared to when you work, but i still like it. it is fun.
- i also love not having a TV in my apartment. it is nice. not only it saves me a lot of fun, but also my apartment has sort of a calm vide in it. i am pretty sure it is due to lack of TV and i like it!!
- yesterday for some reason which i dont recall what it was i thought about marriage. that scared the shit out of me.
- another random point is that weather down here in LA is nice. it is very nice. warm and sunny almost everyday, and cool, not cold, just cool at nights. now thats nice people.
- oh i watched the third presidential debate as well, and i have fun watching it. Bush actually called his financial advisor his "budget man". that just cracked me up.

so yeah, thats all for now.

cheers...

Hello world... again...

Hi.

Done and done. I am in LA. I am 90 % settled in. The only piece of furniture I am missing in my apartment is a bed, which hopefully I will get by middle of next week.
School has started of course. 7 days have gone so far. Time INDEED flies people. Already I have shit load of work to do. Right now I am in the library. And I will remain in the library till 2am. Oh the fun has started.
I like LA though. I am having fun. Lots to do in LA. This weekend I have my first two surfing classes, Saturday and Sunday. Surfing is fun. Tiring, but fun.
Anyhow, just wanted to let you know that I am back. Expect posts much more often than in the past 4 month!
Oh and I have some nice pictures from Iran. I will have some up soon.

Cheers.

Me in Iran

Even though the internet speed in the dear motherland in a true pain in the ass, but I had to have at least one post while I was here. I have been here for about two and a half month now, and I will remain here for another four weeks.
It has been good so far. There are things that have changed since the last time I was here, about a year and a half ago. There are more policemen and police cars on the streets. There are A LOT more cars on the streets as well. Pretty much from 6am till 1am the next day, if you want to drive anywhere it is guaranteed that you get stock in traffic somewhere along the way. It is simply ridiculous.
What else is interesting here? The ladies I tell you! You single guys (boodi and others) out there, definitely try to visit Iran soon. You will like it I think!

Well I am tired. It is past 2am now. I might have some other posts from Iran, but most likely I will save it for when I get back to US and have access to high speed internet.

By the way, it is interesting that my 100th post was written and posted in Iran, don't you think so?

packing time...

I have about 8 hours to get to San Francisco International Airport for my flight to Toronto. The more I get closer to departure time, the more exciting I get I guess. I spent most of my time at Davis this weekend. I had a really good time. I guess summer has officially started for me!
