Made In Iran

18 Tir (9th of July)

It is tough. It is tough to live with the idea that there are students back in Iran, fighting for what many Iranians want, which is a free and democratic Iran, and I am here in California, not being able to stand with them. Fight with them. Resist with them. Why don't I go back you ask? Well there are problems right now. But as I already promised, I will go back once I am done with my grad school. So in about 4 years! But the great question that I ask myself over and over again is this: As an Iranian living abroad, what can I do to help the progress of changing Iran's current government?
I guess I am going to think about it seriously for now, and post the results later. But for now, if you have any idea about the matter, please let us know.
Nevertheless, I wish those Iranians, students or non-students, who were arrested the summer of 1999 and are still in jail the best, and hope we all enjoy a free Iran soon.
Cheers.

A great nation in near future

I was born in Iran, and naturally I love Iran. Indeed I love many things about Iran. Since I love it this much, I care a lot about it too. Right now I live in USA, working. But hopefully I am going to start graduate school soon and get my PhD. Then I promise you, I am going back to Iran to help build the country, to help make it rich and successful. And believe me ladies and gentlemen, it is going to happen. Here are few facts: one, there are many Iranians living outside Iran, in countries such as USA, Canada, and all over Europe. Two, majority of them love Iran as much as I do. Ok, maybe few of them as much as I do, but I can say many of them at least “like” Iran and care about Iran. Three, many of these Iranians are doctors, university professors, lawyers, accountants, CEO’s, and etc, simply put, intellectuals and professionals in the countries they live in. Four, being successful at many levels, they own good amount of wealth. Now with a change in the Iran’s government, which I also do not think is that far away in future, I believe a good portion of these Iranians living abroad would go back to Iran to simply help rebuild Iran. Now imagine what an enormous human resource these Iranians would be, and also what a great investment resources they would bring back into Iran. Therefore, I am going back (even if the government is not changed by the time I am done with my studies,) and I am very optimistic that Iran will be a great democratic and industrialized nation within 20-30 years, and then, there will be many products with the mark “Made in Iran”!! Hopefully I’ll live long enough to see those days.

Hello World!

Greetings!
Welcome to my weblog. I called it "Made in Iran" because I was born and raised in Iran. Here, I write about my opinions, views, ideas, and in general some of my brain waves which of course are translated to English. And the reason I write those things is to get feedback from anyone from anywhere on this planet. Having an Electrical Engineering background, I at least learnt this much that with right feedbacks, systems correct themselves, and become stable, or remain stable. So, I would love to have discussions and exchange of opinions on different topics in this "Corner" of mine. I hope you find the postings interesting, and more importantly do not hesitate to post a comment or "feedback" as you read anything on this weblog.

Cheers,
The guy who was "Made in Iran"

ps. I will be "Made In Iran" from now on!
