It is tough. It is tough to live with the idea that there are students back in Iran, fighting for what many Iranians want, which is a free and democratic Iran, and I am here in California, not being able to stand with them. Fight with them. Resist with them. Why don't I go back you ask? Well there are problems right now. But as I already promised, I will go back once I am done with my grad school. So in about 4 years! But the great question that I ask myself over and over again is this: As an Iranian living abroad, what can I do to help the progress of changing Iran's current government?
I guess I am going to think about it seriously for now, and post the results later. But for now, if you have any idea about the matter, please let us know.
Nevertheless, I wish those Iranians, students or non-students, who were arrested the summer of 1999 and are still in jail the best, and hope we all enjoy a free Iran soon.
Cheers.
